I've been watching CNN, just like the rest of you guys. I still can't shake the fact that a major American city is 80% underwater and helpless. I can't shake that the federal goverment waited a week to take some serious action. I can't beleive that this type of neglience by the feds is even happening in my country.
My heart breaks for the people who got wiped out by the hurricane. Why is New Oreleans underwater after the local officals have been begging the feds for years to fix the levees? New Orleans, Biloxi, Gulfport, and Mobile will never be the same.
I'm going to try to find someway to help those people. Granted, I don't have a lot of dough, but there's something that I can do. I can't even begin to go into it.
